developments. not as much the actual business development that goes on after construction.

as to the notion presented in another post that sort of said "what dumb investors would possibly..." on the construction side, there is ALWAYS some contractor (really, a team of contractors) willing to get into bed with the developer who has a track record of not paying their bills. Either a contractor is naive and unaware (and gets absolutely taken to the cleaners) or it becomes some sick game of trying to anticipate how much one might get screwed (and trying to add that to the original bid while trying to still win the bid.)

i'm sure most every sector of the economy has some version of the above scenario. the business world can be a sick place
